Bloomers!
Made my very first bloomer a few days ago and was delighted at the results
I’m not sure why but up until now I was a bit scared to try one, thinking it would either just rise totally out of porportion or end up a really odd shape. Bread tins contained the dough so that it was limited on where it could ‘go’ and felt safe. But as we know, safe is not always fun nor exciting, so throwing caution to the wind (rebel that I am) I went for it.
In fact, I was so happy with it I downloaded how-to’s for all sorts of shapes and am determined to give some of those a try in the near future.
Best bit – it tasted as good as it looked!
